FUNCTION: Cost Analyst (Analyst 2 to Senior Analyst)

LOCATION: Patuxent River Office - Lexington Park, MD
EDUCATION REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
YEARS OF RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: The position requires one equivalent year of experience in analysis and technical management. Two years credit for a Master’s degree or three years credit for a Ph.D.
REQUIRED SKILLS: The position requires a minimum of two years of Defense Acquisition experience with an emphasis on analysis and technical management. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic. Applicants must have the ability to work autonomously or in a team environment, with excellent communications, quantitative, research, and analytical skills to work closely with our Government client in support of major Navy Acquisition programs.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED/RESPONSIBILITIES: Experience in preparing cost estimates, assessing cost and budget impacts of program alternatives, and preparing and presenting applicable program documentation and briefings are a plus. Individual will perform a variety of cost and economic analysis. Work may include parametric cost estimating, cost and schedule estimating, life cycle cost analysis, cost estimating relationship and model development, cost risk analysis, project forecasting and risk assessment, cost-benefit analysis, and software cost estimating.
