FUNCTION: Junior Schedule/Earned Value Management Analyst – Navy/SPAWAR
 
LOCATION: San Diego Location - San Diego, CA
 
EDUCATION REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
 
YEARS OF RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: The position requires two equivalent years of experience in analysis and technical management.
 
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: We are seeking highly motivated candidates with excellent quantitative, analytical, and communication skills for junior-level analyst positions. In-depth Earned Value Management (EVM) and schedule analysis knowledge and proficiency with tools such as wInsight and MS Project skills is highly desired. The ideal candidate will have at least two equivalent years of experience in EVM and schedule analysis, preferably with Space and Naval Warfare Command (SPAWAR) or an equivalent Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition organization. Three semester hours of calculus and 21 semester hours of course work in operations research, economics, math, chemistry, physics, or other sciences where there is utilization of advanced math (e.g., geometry, trigonometry, statistics, probability, and/or quantitative analysis) is required. AACE EVP or PMI PMP certifications or certification in process is highly desired. Comparable certifications will be considered. The ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance is required.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES: Individuals will perform a wide variety of EVM and schedule analyses for Navy SPAWAR organizations. Work may include performing EVM analysis, participating in Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) activities, preparing management plans and reports, instructing project officers on EVM and scheduling policies, processes and procedures, and preparing schedule analyses, critical path analyses, schedule quality analyses, and schedule risk analyses.
