FUNCTION: Junior to Senior Level Air Force Financial Analyst
 
LOCATION: Colorado Springs Operations - Colorado Springs, CO
 
EDUCATION REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
 
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: We are seeking candidates with extensive knowledge of the Department of Defense (DoD) budget process. Financial management experience in a DoD environment, budget execution experience in a DoD acquisition program and experience in the DoD PPBE process is required. MAJCOM experience is preferred. Analytical experience providing decision support to senior DoD management is required in addition to competency with Microsoft products and Air Force proprietary systems to include ABSS, DTS and CRIS. Requirement validation experience supporting the budgeting and programming processes within DoD and the demonstrated ability to develop new or enhance existing products/process to improve operations is also required.

DoD Secret Clearance is required.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES: This position will be on-site in the Air Force Organization providing budget execution management support within the program's business management directorate. Responsibilities include managing the collection, validation and update to financial execution data to the budget execution database on a monthly basis; udpate numerous recurring reports that track and forecast spending at the program and component level; peform the modification of database queries and reports to meet analytical demands as required; provide analysis, produce briefing charts, and conduct program budget execution reviews. Additional duties include analysis of program spending and component requirements as required; prepare, coordinate and transmit funding documents to support program efforts; monitor major program-level contracts and provide data and/or recommendations to support funding decisions; provides key support in the development and implementation of a requirement validation and prioritization process for the program office.
