FUNCTION: Information Manager
 
LOCATION: Albuquerque Operations - Albuquerque, NM
 
EDUCATION REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
 
YEARS OF RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: The position requires five equivalent years of experience in analysis and technical management.
 
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Proficiency in the MS Office Suite (i.e., M/S Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, SharePoint), excellent quantitative interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work independently and maintain working relationships with a variety of team members are required. Applicant must possess Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and/or Configuration Management Tool experience. Configuration Management II (CMII) certification required. Experience with installing and maintaining COBRA, MPM, wInsight, SharePoint applications and system interfaces required. The ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance is required.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Information Manager will assist with the identification and implementation of applications and tools needed to manage and deploy information to the team members. The responsibilities include meeting support (planning, organizing, and scheduling), meeting facilitation, assistance creating presentations, meeting documentation, action item and issue documentation and follow up. The successful candidate will also be responsible for assisting with resolving running issues and assuming new tasks as they come up. The Information Manager will also maintain and update Earned Value Management System (EVMS) configuration and desktop EVMS software installations, perform patching and upgrades to the EVMS software suite as requested by the EVMS Project Manager (this may include accommodating licensed software upgrades provided by the Government), incorporate customizations developed by EVMS managers, change default configurations as requested by EVMS management, track and maintain records associated with EVM related licenses and maintenance owned by customer and are kept current in order to meet the needs of the organization/project. When appropriate, the Information Manager will identify technologies that could be incorporated to add new functionality, reduce complexity, or reduce costs.
