FUNCTION: Business Financial Manager
LOCATION: Albuquerque Operations - Albuquerque, NM
EDUCATION REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Applicants must be able to work in a dynamic environment and perform autonomously in a team setting, have proficiency in the use of MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and Department of Defense (DoD) financial systems ( CCaR, CRIS, SCRT, ABSS and MOCAS). Excellent verbal and written communication and quantitative analytical skills are a must. Applicants will also have experience in the DoD Acquisition and Budgeting process, Air Force Financial Management process, Defense Travel System relative to foreign travel, Air Force Accounting and payment systems and Reimbursable funds management. Current knowledge of DoD program management execution support and prior DoD and Missile Defense Agency (MDA) financial experience highly desirable. Applicants must be able to obtain the proper security clearance.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities will include performing budget/financial execution of DoD financial documents and systems, budget tracking and trend analysis, business management, developing spend plans, and budget reporting. Relative to financial execution, the candidate will also be responsible for funds loading, initiating funding documents, gathering/tracking invoices, performing prior year analysis and closing out end of fiscal year government financial records. Additionally, the applicant will be working with mid-to senior-level government officials in providing briefing support and analysis to government decision-makers.
